Harold Eugene Hinck, Burlingame

Harold Eugene Hinck of Burlingame died Thursday, March 20, 2008. He was 75.
Mr. Hinck farmed and raised livestock for most of his life. He retired from farming in 1995 and from the cattle business in 2003. He served two years in the U.S. Army.
The son of Charles and Bertha Smith Hinck, he was born April 19, 1932, at Topeka. He spent most of his life in Osage County and graduated from Harveyville High School in 1951.
Mr. Hinck is survived by a son, Gary Hinck of Topeka; a stepson, David Houser of Olathe; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his companion, Nellie Chenoweth; and his caretakers, Vickie Seastrom, Chuck Chenoweth, Lori Luna and Mary Fuentes.
Burial, with military services conducted by an Army honor detail, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Wilmington Cemetery, south of Harveyville. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Carey Funeral Home in Burlingame.
