Joann B. Marsh, Emporia

The memorial service for Joann Nadine Marsh will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Emporia Presbyterian Manor Chapel. Ken Hanson of the Manor will conduct the service. Mrs. Marsh was cremated.
Memorial contributions to the Lyon County Chapter of the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation may be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
Mrs. Marsh died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Newman Regional Health. She was 70.
She taught English in a junior high school in Raytown, Mo., for six years and also a homemaker. She moved to Emporia in September 2002.
The daughter of Clyde and Emma Cotner Biggs, she was born May 10, 1937, at Salem, Mo. She married Max Marsh on Feb. 15, 1964, at Raytown, Mo. He survives and also lives at the Manor.
Mrs. Marsh is also survived by two daughters, Ann Scheller of Emporia and Jennifer Fulks of Topeka; one brother, Dwight Biggs of Belleville, Ill.; one sister, Betty Hagler of Salem, Mo.; and five grandchildren. One brother, Howard Biggs, and one sister, Donna Sullinger, died earlier.
