Delia Townsend, a resident of the Emporia Rehabilitation Center, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the center. She was 74.
Mrs. Townsend owned a bar in Illinois.
The daughter of Lloyd and Opal Kellett Holder, she was born Aug. 31, 1933, at Galena, Mo. She married Preston Odom in Florida. They were divorced. She married Richard Townsend at Kansas City, Kan. He died in December 1982.
Mrs. Townsend is survived by three sons, Tony Odom of Garnett, Jeff Odom of Lafayette, Ill., and Larry Odom of California; a sister, Ruthetta Kriss of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Delbert Holder of Republic, Mo.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Mrs. Townsend was cremated.
