Lila L. Naiman, Americus

1930 - 2008

The funeral for Lila L. Naiman of Americus will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Charter Funerals-Emporia Chapel. The Rev. Mark Stukey will conduct the service. Burial will be in Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation may be sent in care of the funeral home, 501 W. Sixth Ave., Emporia, KS 66801.
Ms. Naiman died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Newman Regional Health. She was 77.
She was a production worker at IBP before she retired.
The daughter of Michael R. and Thelma Wilson Carter, she was born April 7, 1930, at Sun City, Kan. She graduated from high school in Enumclaw, Wash.
Ms. Naiman is survived by one son, Richard Warin of Friday Harbor, Wash.; one sister, Gwen Roepka of Nickerson; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A son, Douglas Warin; a daughter, Janet Beck; and a brother, Michael Carter, died earlier.
