Eli J. Entrikin, Topeka
Eli J. Entrikin, 85, of Topeka died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at a Topeka care home. Survivors in this area include Karen Scott of Emporia and Linda Black of Carbondale.
Mr. Entrikin retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 29 years of service. He also operated Eli’s Custom Tractor Work, a landscaping business, for many years. He performed in various bands throughout the years, including his 1950s band, “Eli and the Swingsters.”
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
