Leroy Guy Rosebraugh, 62, of Augusta died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Leroy Guy Rosebraugh, the son of Guy and Fern Gable Rosebraugh, was born May 15, 1945, in Emporia. He graduated from Emporia High School in 1963 and attended Pittsburg State University. He retired as a section foreman in 2005, after working 40 years for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
Mr. Rosebraugh was involved with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 209 and was a unit commissioner. He was a muzzleloader and buckskinner and was a 32nd-degree Mason. He held a fifth-degree black belt in Olinawa karate and trained many students.
He married Gloria Frazier on Sept. 5, 1970, in Wellington. She survives.
He also is survived by his stepmother, Casilda Rosebraugh, whom he considered his mother; a daughter, Christina Rosebraugh of Wichita; a son, Spencer Rosebraugh of Augusta; a brother, Robert Jones of Emporia; two sisters, Deanna Starkey of Cottonwood Falls and Virginia Peterson of Bazaar. He was preceded in death by his parents.
