Napoleon Love, St. Louis, Mo.

Napoleon “Hamburger” Love died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at his home in St. Louis, Mo. He was 86. Survivors in this area include a son, Tony Love Sr., of Emporia.
Mr. Love worked for the H.A. Daly Construction Company for many years and also owned and operated a residential construction business. He was an Army veteran, serving as a sergeant.
He became a deacon when he was a teenager at the First Baptist Church in Lambert, Miss. After he moved to St. Louis, Mr. Love joined the Southern Union Missionary Baptist Church where he was a deacon for more than 60 years.
The funeral was held Thursday (Jan. 24) at the Southern Union Baptist Church in St. Louis, Mo. Burial was in National Cemetery-Jefferson Barracks at St. Louis, Mo.
The Austin A. Layne Mortuary in St. Louis, Mo., has the arrangements.
