Norman H. Lindbloom, Osage City

1915 - 2008

Norman H. Lindbloom died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Peterson Nursing Home in Osage City. He was 92.
Mr. Lindbloom worked for the railroad and farmed, then later was a carpenter with Martin Material in Osage City. He also worked with Louis Vialle as a carpenter.
The son of Carl H. and Katharine E. Kramer Lindbloom, he was born July 8, 1915, on a farm near Osage City. He graduated from Osage City High School and attended the College of Emporia and Kansas State University in Manhattan, where he participated in a variety of sports.
Mr. Lindbloom was a member of the United Methodist Church in Osage City.
He is survived by a sister, Mildred H. Lindbloom, a resident of the Peterson Nursing Home in Osage City. A brother, Carl F. Lindbloom, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Osage City. Burial will be in Rapp Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel.
