Nancy Jean Hotzel, Rochester, Wash.
Nancy Jean Hotzel , 51, of Rochester, Wash., died Jan. 16, 2008, at University Place in Washington. She had ovarian cancer. Survivors in this area include her mother-in-law, Charlene Hotzel of Emporia. Nancy Jackson married Emporian Joe Hotzel. He survives. Her father-in-law, Carl Hotzel, died Dec. 5, 2007.
Mrs. Hotzel received several awards for her work in conservation in Colorado and in Washington State departments of information services and ecology, communications and education.
The service to celebrate her life will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mills and Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Tumwater, Wash.
