Joyce Anne Rollings, Fair Oaks, CALIF.

1933 - 2008

Emporia native Joyce Ann Rollings died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at the Gardens of Citrus Heights after a long illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Rollings was an executive secretary at Eskaton in California before she retired in 1997. Previously, she was a clerk for the Roseville, Calif., library.
The daughter of John Allen and Mary Louise Zimmer Nauman, she was born June 6, 1933, at Emporia. She graduated from Emporia High School and attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia.
She married J.W. Rollings on Sept. 5, 1953, at Emporia. He survives. They moved from Emporia to Kansas City, then Westminster, Colo., and to Rocklin, Calif., in 1970.
Mrs. Rollings is also survived by one daughter, Jan Reposa of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; two sons, Mike Rollings of Roseville, Calif., and Kirk Rollings of Spokane, Wash.; one sister, Rita Dean of Emporia; and nine grandchildren. A brother, John R. Nauman, died earlier.
The memorial service was at the Price Funeral Chapel in Citrus Heights. Burial was in Fair Oaks Cemetery.
