Eunice Irene Wyatt Ludwig, Rogers, Arkansas

1931 - 2008

ROGERS, ARK.
Eunice Irene Ludwig, formerly of Chase County and Emporia died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was 76.
Mrs. Ludwig was chief clerk for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (ASCS) in Emporia for 33 years. She and her husband, “Pud,’ moved from Emporia to Rogers, Ark., in 1995. She also was a homemaker.
The daughter of Carl and Gladys Stout Wyatt, she was born Oct. 6, 1931, in Chase County. She graduated from Clements High School in rural Chase County.
She married Marion “Pud” Ludwig on Aug. 6, 1950, at Clements. He survives.
Mrs. Ludwig was a lifetime member of Miriam Chapter 14 of the Order of the Eastern Star and received her 50-year pin; and a 45-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, both in Emporia.
She is also survived by one daughter, Theresa Linkous of Rogers, Ark.; two brothers, Ivan Wyatt of Clements and Dale Wyatt of Honolulu, Hawaii; and two grandsons.
The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. John Hastings of the Elmdale United Methodist Church will conduct the service. Mrs. Ludwig was cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date in Prairie Grove Cemetery in rural Cottonwood Falls.
