Former Emporia resident Millie A. Koefoed died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at her home in San Rafael, Calif. She was 79.
The daughter of Lyman and Arlene Mallary, she was born April 3, 1928. She graduated from Emporia High School in 1945 and moved to California in 1948.
She married Carl W. Koefoed in 1954. He died Dec. 23, 1993.
Mrs. Koefoed is survived by two sons; one sister, Treva McCandless of Scott City; and two grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held April 3.
