Brianna Nicole Mundy, 19, died Feb. 2, 2008, at the home of her grandparents in Emporia. She was a sophomore, attending school full-time at Emporia State University. She lived with her mother at 1421 Rural St.
Brianna, the daughter of Styron “Al” Mundy and Vivian Steavenson-Mundy, was born June 19, 1988, in Emporia.
She graduated in 2006 from Emporia High School and was a member of the Anime Club and the Young Republicans Chapter, both at ESU, and the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents; a sister and a brother, Dawn Nail-Boyer and Chris Steavenson-Mundy of Emporia; and her maternal grandparents, Chester and Micky Furman of Emporia.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Westside Baptist Church, with Pastor Chris Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow the service.
The family will meet family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
