Terry Allen Meyer, Madison
1952 - 2008
Terry Allen Meyer died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at his home in Madison. He was 55.
Mr. Meyer was a materials manager for the Titan Contracting and Leasing Company.
The son of Paul Bruce and Mildred A. Spradlin Meyer, he was born Feb. 5, 1952, at Coffeyville. The family moved to Madison in 1962. After he graduated from high school in Madison, he attended Highland Community College.
He married Terri Suzanne Howard on Aug. 21, 1982, at the Madison City Lake. She survives.
Mr. Meyer was a member of Lamont Wesleyan Church.
He is also survived by two daughters, Jessica Butter and Erika Meyer, both of Madison; one son, Hank Meyer of Madison; one stepdaughter, Kristy Stevens of Topeka; his father of Madison; two brothers, Dennis Meyer of Emporia and John Meyer of Osawatomie; and three grandchildren. His mother died earlier.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Madison. Burial will be in Blakely Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Lamont Wesleyan Church and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. box 488, Madison, KS 66860.
