Jacqualyn F. Morgan, Emporia

Jacqualyn Faye Morgan is survived by two sons, one of whom is Michael R. Morgan of Emporia. The incorrect information was given to The Gazette for the obituary published Friday.

The memorial service for Jacqualyn Faye Morgan will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Messiah Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norbert Tegtmeier will conduct the service.
Memorial contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1980 Auxiliary may be sent in care of Charter Funerals, 501 W. Sixth Ave., Emporia, KS 66801.
Mrs. Morgan died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Newman Regional Health. She was 75.
She was a bus driver for USD 253 before she retired.
The daughter of Elmer and Harriett Royer Cross, she was born Sept. 4, 1932, at Kansas City, Kan. She married Kenneth L. Morgan, who died July 21, 1998.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1980, where she was president and secretary. She also was a member of the Women’s Bowling Association.
She is survived by two sons, Michael R. Morgan of Emporia and David Morgan of LeSeues, Minn.; two daughters, Deborah Horne of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Penny Newsom of Fort Dodge, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A sister died earlier.
