Kenneth Wayne Ziegler, Emporia

Kenneth Wayne Ziegler died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at his home in Emporia. He was 74.
Mr. Ziegler worked as a maintenance technician. He retired from Dolly Madison.
The son of Otto J. and Ruth Belle Mast Ziegler, he was born Jan. 2, 1933, in Emporia. He married Donna Gayann Robinson Ziegler in Wellington on Oct. 7, 1952. She survives.
Mr. Ziegler also is survived by two sons, Shale “Rocky” Ziegler of Olpe and Scott A. Ziegler of Elbing; two daughters, Wilma G. Washburn of Wichita and Ruth W. Lehman of Midlothian, Texas; three brothers, Harold L. Ziegler, Steve Ziegler and Gary Ziegler, all of Emporia; two sisters, Velma Jean Schroeder of Hutchinson and Brenda McPeak of Haysville; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A brother, James Ziegler, died earlier.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Ziegler was cremated. The Rev. Mic McGuire will conduct the service. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charter Funeral Home.
