Former area resident Robin L. Newton of Ravenwood, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007. She was 53.
Mrs. Newton worked in the Radiology Department at Newman Memorial Hospital and later, at Dolly Madison Bakery before she moved to Missouri. She was a records officer with the Maryville Treatment Center in Missouri.
The daughter of the Rev. Paul Russell Ansley and Margaret Pauline Johnson Ansley, she was born Sept. 1, 1954. She graduated from Madison High School.
She married Tom Newton on Sept. 4, 1976, in Madison. He survives.
Mrs. Newton was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Oregon, Mo.
She also is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline West of Ravenwood, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Kim Cousin of Topeka; her mother of Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Peggy Ewens of Grain Valley, Mo., and Sandra Berry of Camdenton, Mo.; three brothers, Ken Ansley of Webb City, Mo., Larry Ansley of Carthage, Mo., and Steve Ansley of Milford, Mo., and three grandchildren.
Her father died earlier.
Mrs. Newton was cremated.
