Laura V. Dickinson, Hoyt

Laura V. Dickinson died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at the Presbyterian Manor in Newton. Survivors in this area include a son, John Dickinson of Emporia.
Mrs. Dickinson and her husband, Edward, ran the Mobil Station in Hoyt. She was a member of and played the piano and organ for the Hoyt Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She also taught piano.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hoyt Baptist Church. Burial will be at Hoyt Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
Memorial contributions to the church or the Hoyt Volunteeer Fire Department may be sent in care of the funeral home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
