The funeral for Barbara K. Holmes will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lebo United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery at Lebo.
The family will meet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo.

Mrs. Holmes died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was 68.
She checked on newborn babies for Lyon County from 2002 to 2004. Previously, she was a a dietary manager at area nursing homes from 1986 to 2002, and from 1984 to 1986 she worked at Panthers Hideaway in Melvern.
The daughter of Alfred and Rose L. Miller Cowdin, she was born May 18, 1939, in Ottawa. She married Jack L. Holmes on Jan. 17, 1960, in Pratt. They divorced 27 years later.
Mrs. Holmes is survived by three sons, Alan Holmes and Jeff Holmes, both of Lebo, and Mark Stevenson of Richmond; three brothers, Danny Cowdin of Quenemo, Charles Cowdin of Ottawa and Larry Cowdin of Topeka; two sisters, Betty Newkirk of Wellsville and Karen Revey of Garnett; 10 grandchildren and her companion of 10 years, Larry Hensley of Lebo.
A son, Dave Stevenson, five brothers, Eugene Cowdin, Robert Cowdin, Bernard Cowdin, Darrell Cowdin and Ronald Cowdin, and two sisters, Arlene Dean and Barb Holmes, died earlier.
