Mary Katherine Williamson of Burlington died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at Coffey County Hospital in Burlington. She was 72.
Mrs. Williamson lived in various locations around the southeast United States where her husband worked in construction.
They moved to Burlington in 1977. Earlier, when she was 18, she moved to St. Louis and worked for a shoe factory.
The daughter of Wesley and Marie Wilkison Keen, she was born Aug. 21, 1935, in St. Louis. She grew up at Bonne Terre, Mo., where she was raised in the Catholic Church.
She married Robert “Bob” Eugene Williamson Jr., on Jan. 31, 1957, in Luka, Miss. He survives.
Mrs. Williamson was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge in Burlington for several years.
She also is survived by two daughters, Bobbie McDaniel of Burlington and Kathy Smith of New Strawn; one son, Robert Williamson III of Burlington; two brothers, Jimmy Keen and Bobby Keen, both of Bonne Terre; three sisters, Ronnie Butler and Shirley Kennon, both of St. Louis, and Betty Eaton of Farmington, Mo.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
An infant brother, two other brothers, Ralph Keen and Paul Keen, and two sisters, Patsy Keen and Viola Jennings, died earlier.
The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. Mrs. Williamson was cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Grove, Mo.
