Letha May Watkins, Wichtia

WICHITA
Letha May Watkins of Wichita died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, in Wichita. She was 91. Survivors in this area include her brother, Warren Horton of Emporia.
Mrs. Watkins owned and operated a diner in downtown Wichita and also was a security secretary for USD 259 Board of Education in Wichita.
During World War II, she worked as a “Rosie the Riveter.”
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita. The graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Argonia Cemetery in Argonia.
The family will meet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
