Darlene Scott Bull, Burlington

Darlene Bull of Burlington died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Coffey County Hospital in Burlington. She was 82.
Mrs. Bull attended beauty school and was a beautician for more than 20 years. She also was the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Burlington Plumbing & Heating. Recently, she assisted her son with his business, Lakeview Bait & Tackle in New Strawn. She also was a quilter.
The daughter of Foster and Zelpha Bazil Scott, she was born March 9, 1925, in New Mexico. She married Virgil V. Bull on March 23, 1941 in Burlington. He died March 12, 1993.
Mrs. Bull is survived by two sons, Jim Bull of Burlington and Lynn Bull of Wichita; two half-sisters, Pat Streeter of Lebo and Shirley Betts of Bella Vista, Ark.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Daughter Lynda Bull died in 1953 and daughter Joyce Phillips died in 1991. A son, Randall Bull, died in 1969. Two brothers, Earl Scott and Foster Scott Jr., and a sister, Inez Piper, also died earlier.
The memorial graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery in Burlington.
