Charles S. Fullen, Emporia

Charles S. Fullen of Emporia died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at Holiday Resort. He was 93.
Mr. Fullen was born July 17, 1914, in Lehigh, the son of William W. and Lena Buehler Fullen.
Before his retirement, he was a conductor and brakeman for Santa Fe Railroads.
He married Velda Pruitt, who died in 1957. He then married Gladys R. Storey, who survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Barbara Farr of Emporia; three step-daughters, Carol Cipra of Emporia, Patricia Clarke of Kingwood, Texas, and Sue Johnston of Newton; one sister, Mildred George of El Dorado; three brothers, Arnold Starkel and Leslie Starkel, both of El Dorado, and Gene Starkel of McPherson; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-greandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced later. Mr. Fullen has been cremated.
