Keith K. Millerskow, Strong City
Keith K. Miller died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at his home in Strong City. He was 69.
Mr. Miller worked for the Chase County Highway Department and Koss Construction Company for 19 years before he retired in 1999. He also worked with his three sons hauling hay.
The service to celebrate his life will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. Leonard Wagner of the Church of God in Emporia will conduct the service.
Burial will be in Strong City Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends also may call Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time.
The son of Glen R. and Esther Danford Miller, he was born Oct. 12, 1937, at the family home in rural Strong City. He graduated from Strong City High School.
He married Linda Lawless in 1958. They were divorced. He married Sandra “Sandy” Sawyer on Oct. 12, 1967. She survives.
Mr. Miller also is survived by three sons, Tim Miller of Bucyrus, Rick Miller of Overland Park and John Miller of Raymore, Mo.; one daughter, Missy Miller Gowin of Shawnee; three brothers, his twin brother, Kenneth Miller of Emporia, Paul Miller of Pineville, Ark., and Bobby Gene Miller of Idalou, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
A son, Brian Miller, died earlier, as did four sisters, Betty Henderson, JoAnn Starks, Glenda Mae Rickstrew and Gladys Thompson, and two brothers, Donald Ralph Miller and Harold Dean Miller.
