Beulah Arline Blossom Ryman, Americus

1916 - 2007

AMERICUS
Beulah Arline Ryman of Americus died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in the Emporia Presbyterian Manor. She was 91.
Mrs. Ryman was librarian at the Newark Public Library in Newark, N.J., before she retired 31 years ago.
The daughter of Howard E. and Eva Markley Blossom, she was born March 5, 1916, at Plymouth. She married Omar Myrle Ryman on Aug. 2, 1935, at Alma. He survives.
Mrs. Ryman was a member of the Americus United Methodist Church.
She also is survived by one son, John Ryman of Cody, Wyo.; two daughters, Shirley Ternyik of Lexington, Tenn., and Elizabeth Thompson of Excelsior, Minn.; one brother, Lyle Blossom of Days Creek, Ore.; five sisters, Daisy Hemming and Sheila Schmiterdorf, both of Lawrence, Esther Avery of Baudette, Minn., LaVella Keitz of Roseburg, Ore., and Iris Vlasschaert of Roseburg, Ore.; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. One sister and five brothers died earlier.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Americus United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bud Tuxhorn of the church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery at Dunlap. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
