James E. Ferrell of Leavenworth died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, of complications from diabetes. He was 66.
Jim Ferrell owned a lawn service in Leavenworth and previously owned American Printing in Weston, Mo. He hunted near Emporia, where a lot of his hunting friends live.
Mr. Ferrell is survived by a stepdaughter, Joni Klemp, and his longtime companion, Carolyn Rankin McClure, who grew up in Emporia.
His son, “Tony,” his parents and his brother, Mike Ferrell, died earlier.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Heritage Center in Leavenworth.
