Louis E. Tuepker, Emporia

1915 - 2007

Louis E. “Tip” Tuepker of Emporia died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Holiday Estates. He was 92.
Mr. Tuepker worked in maintenance for Kansas Milling (now Cargil Milling) in Wichita for 35 years before he retired in 1980.
The son of John Herbert and Pauline Marie Bueker Tuepker, he was born July 1, 1915, in Russellville, Mo. He married Bertha Marie Andres on May 28, 1940, in California, Mo. She survives.
Mr. Tuepker was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita and a member of the Sunday School Clippers. He also was a member of Bestor Brown Masonic Lodge 433 and the Wichita Consistory of Scottish Rite.
He also is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Privat of Osage City, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
One brother, Herbert Tuepker, and one sister, Doris Bassinger, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
