William Lee Gosser

William Lee Gosser, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at his home, 619 Rural St. He was 71.
Mr. Gosser, a carpenter, owned and operated Gosser Construction in Emporia for 50 years before he retired in 2005.
The son of James L. and Viola M. White Gosser, he was born Feb. 17, 1936, at Plymouth. He married Edith Diane Dailey on Jan. 6, 1970, at Emporia. She survives.
Mr. Gosser was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
He is also survived by three sons, Brian L. Gosser and William Gosser Jr., both of Emporia, and Phillip E. Gosser of Topeka; five sisters; and six grandchilden. Two brothers and one sister died earlier.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. The Rev. James Scott of the Cornerstone Baptist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Chicago Mound Cemetery.
