Misty Kane died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at her home in Emporia.
Services are pending at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
The funeral for Misty Lynn Kane will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery at Reading. The family will meet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to a trust fund for her sons may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
Mrs. Kane died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at her home, 211 S. Mechanic St. She was 37.
She was the manager at Village Inn in Emporia.
The daughter of Meredith and Joyce Cornwell Heathman, she was born May 29, 1970, at Emporia. She married Larry M. Kane on Oct. 23, 2004, at Reading. He survives.
Mrs. Kane participated in an Emporia bowling league.
She is also survived by two sons, Larriston Kane and Marlyn Kane, both of the home; her mother, Joyce Cornwell of Emporia; her father and stepmother, Meredith and Rose Heathman of Reading; one sister, Melinda Heathman of Reading; two brothers, Micheal Heathman of Emporia and Terry Keith Heathman, both of Emporia; and her grandmother, Cordelia Seleey of Reading; and her cousin and caretaker, Ivy Woods. Her grandparents, James and Evelyn Cornwell, died earlier.
