James P. Augustine, Parsons
Strong City native James P. Augustine of Parsons died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at Labette Health Center in Parsons. He was 50.
The son of Joseph and Wilma Adkins Augustine, he was born Dec. 20, 1956, in Strong City.
Mr. Augustine is survived by a sister, Joanna Klumpe of St. Joseph, Mo. His parents and a sister, Wilma Adkins, died earlier.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Parsons. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Mr. Augustine will be cremated after the service. Burial, at a later date, will be at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Strong City.
