Joyce Ann Pinniger, Gainesville, Ga.

1942 - 2007

Former area resident Joyce Ann Pinniger died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at her home in Gainesville, Ga. She was 65.
The daughter of Herbert and Kittie Anderson, she was born June 21, 1942, at Abilene. She grew up in the Dunlap and Americus area. She graduated from Americus High School and Kansas State University.
Mrs. Pinniger was a member of the Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Cumming, Ga.. and earlier, was active in the 4-H Clubs of America.
She is survived by her husband, David Pinniger; two sons, Kurt Pinniger of Roswell, Ga., and Todd Pinniger of Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Yvonne Sommers of Emporia; and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held Nov. 25 at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming, Ga. Burial was in Sawnee View Gardens.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Forsyth County Relay for Life or Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and sent in care of the funeral home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040.
