Nancy Lee Plankinton of Allen died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Newman Regional Health. She was 65.
Mrs. Plankinton was supervisor at St. Mary’s Hospital for 15 years and then a cook at the Golden Living Center in Eskridge for 10 years before she retired Sept. 20, 2007.
The daughter of Frank Edward and Elsie Belle Mallory Frizzell, she was born Feb. 25, 1942, at Bushong. She married Robert Lee Plankinton Sr. They were divorced.
Mrs. Plankinton was a member of Parents Without Partners.
She is survived by one son, Robert L. Plankinton of Allen; one daughter, Dawn Renee Stanford of Hartford; one sister, Florence Choate of Lyons; and six grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers, Floyd Frizzell and Fred Frizzell, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Allen United Methodist Church in Allen. The Rev. Mark Stukey of Admire will conduct the service. Burial will be in Bushong Cemetery at Bushong. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
