The graveside service for James P. Augustine will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Strong City. The Rev. Nicolas Voelker of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church will be the celebrant. Mr. Augustine was cremated.
The funeral Mass and rosary were held in Parsons.
Mr. Augustine died Oct. 10, 2007, at Labette Health in Parsons. He was 50.
The son of Joseph P. and Wilma Adkins Augustine, he was born Dec. 20, 1956, in Strong City.
Mr. Augustine is survived by one sister, Joanna Klumpe of St. Joseph, Mo. His parents and a sister, Shirley Augustine, died earlier.
