Ronald H. Vahsholtz, Pasadena, Texas
Emporia native Ronald H. Vahsholtz of Pasadena, Texas, died Friday, May 18, 2007. He was 56.
Mr. Vahsholtz worked in oil refineries at Houston, Texas, and later was a self-employed carpenter. The son of Rhinehart and Dorothea Dettemore Vahsholtz, he was born March 2, 1951, in Emporia. He attended school in Emporia and Americus.
He married Marcia Rich in 1973. They were divorced.
Mr. Vahsholtz was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by two sons, Jason Vahsholtz and Nolan Vahsholtz, both of Pasadena, Texas; one sister, Rebecca Duncan of Olathe; and four grandchildren. Survivors in this area include an aunt, Hattie Rathke of Americus, and two uncles, Milton Vahsholtz of Emporia and Henry Vahsholtz of Americus.
His parents and a sister, Sharon Byrd, died earlier.
