Thomas Joe Short
The memorial service for Emporia native Thomas Joe Short of Hemet, Calif., will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patio Garden in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Mayberry of the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Derby will conduct the service. After the service, there will be a luncheon for friends and family at VFW Post 1980, 932 Graphic Arts Road.
Mr. Short died March 2, 2007. His obituary was published in The Gazette on March 30, 2007.
