Doris Lorraine Terbush
Doris Lorraine Terbush, a resident of the Holiday Resort, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the Holiday Resort, where she was a resident. She was 91.
Mrs. Terbush was a secretary for the Social Security Administration.
The daughter of Charley A. and Myrtle E. Grier Haeberle, she was born Feb. 9, 1916, at Viola. She married Louis H. Terbush on Dec. 28, 1935, at Wichita. He died earlier.
Mrs. Terbush is survived by a son, Darrell Terbush of Valley Center; her granddaughter and caregiver, Teddi Davis of Emporia; three other grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Dorothy “Kay” Gibson; and a sister, Dorothy Calloway, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Charter Funerals — Emporia Chapel. The Rev. Mark Stukey will conduct the service. Burial will be Monday in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at Wichita.
