Fredrick R. Sullivan, Garden City
Fredrick R. Sullivan died Monday, March 26, 2007, at his home in Garden City. He was 83. Survivors in this area include a daughter, Sally Farmer of Emporia.
Mr. Sullivan, who was a trucker, had lived in Long Beach, Calif., Salina, and Hays. He moved to Garden City in 1962 from Cheyenne, Wyo. In Garden City, he owned the Plaza Cue, The Keg, Five Point Motor Company and Sullivan Retail Liquor. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was trained as a glider pilot.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Memorial contributions to the St. Dominic School Endowment Fund may be sent in care of the Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. 7th St., Garden City, KS 67846-5594.
