Thelma Faye Klotz-Hanson
Mrs. Hanson, formerly of 1025 E. 11th Ave., died Monday, March 19, 2007, at the Emporia Presbyterian Manor where she was a resident. She was 92.
The memorial service for Thelma Faye Klotz-Hanson will be at a later date. Mrs. Hanson was cremated.

She was a secretary in several offices when she and her husband moved to Arizona after World War II. They moved to Burlingame in 1978 and to Emporia in 1989. Earlier, she taught in Champaign, Ill.
The daughter of Ralph and Violet Hobble Klotz, she was born Feb. 3, 1915, in Americus. She graduated from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia.
She married Hugh Hanson on Aug. 6, 1941, in Emporia. He died March 31, 1996, in Emporia.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Mayflower Circle of the Congregational Women’s Fellowship.
Mrs. Hanson is survived by one brother, Ralph Klotz of Emporia; two sisters, Ozetta Lind of Emporia and Lois Powell of Kansas City, Kan. A brother, Lyle Klotz, died earlier.
