Patricia Jean Anderson of Emporia died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the Holiday Resort care center.
The service will be at 2 p.m. in the Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery, conducted by her brother, the Rev. George Anderson.
The Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home has the arrangements.
The graveside service for Patricia Jean Anderson of Emporia will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The service will be conducted by Miss Anderson’s brother, the Rev. George Anderson.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Holiday Resort and sent in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
Miss Anderson died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the Holiday Resort, where she was a resident since 2001. She was 81.
She worked in various capacities in food preparation and service in restaurants and nursing homes in Emporia.
The daughter of George W. and Crystal Ruth Young Anderson, she was born Nov. 6, 1925, at Emporia.
Miss Anderson was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Gwendolyn Ruth Anderson of Emporia, Betty Smith of Hutchinson and Virginia Sue Askland of Ada, Okla.; and one brother, George Anderson of Bowie, Md.
