Ida Mae Spain, Cottonwood Falls

Ida Mae Spain died Monday, March 12, 2007, at the Golden Living Center of Chase County in Cottonwood Falls. She was 96.
Mrs. Spain was cremated and there will be no visitation or service. There will be a family inurnment service at a later date.
The daughter of Robert and Lillian Liles, she was born April 21, 1910, at Miller, Mo., where she later married Carlton Spain. He died in 1967.
Mrs. Spain was a member of the Baptist Church in Webb city, Mo.
She is survived by a daughter, Joella Simpson of Strong City; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Three brothers, Clinton Liles, Howard Liles and Julian Liles, died earlier.
The Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls has the arrangements.
