Nancy J. Diltz

Nancy J. Diltz, 628 Sunnyslope St., died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Wesley Medical center in Wichita. She was 67.
Mrs. Diltz was a homemaker.
The daughter of Charles E. and Pauline O. Theye Van Gorden, she was born Dec. 1, 1939, at Emporia. She married Thomas LaMar Diltz on Dec. 8, 1956. They were divorced after 37 years of marriage.
Mrs. Diltz is survived by four daughters, Cindy Rangel of Emporia, Debbie Sizemore of Wichita and Terri Rae Diltz and Sharon Diltz, both of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one sister, Connie Hummer of Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Roy Ferguson of the Lighthouse Baptist Church will conduct the service. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions to the Emporia Friends of the Zoo or for a plaque to be placed by a tree in a park in California may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
