Alan Scott Anderson, Burlington
Alan Scott Anderson, 51, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at his home in Burlington.
Mr. Anderson began work for the State of Kansas in 1975 and was the chief examiner for the Kansas Department of Revenue in Topeka. He moved with his family to Burlington in 1961 from San Antonio, Texas.
The son of K.A. and Esther Olson Anderson, he was born Sept. 8, 1955, at San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1973.
He married Pamela Tomlinson on Dec. 6, 1980, at Burlington. They were divorced. He married Cindy Fehr on July 25, 1994, at Iola. She survives.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Burlington.
He is also survived by one daughter, Jennifer Anderson of Olathe; his mother of Burlington; and two sisters, Cheryl Ewy of Burlington and Gloria Robison of San Antonio, Texas. His father died earlier.
The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Jones Funeral Home at Burlington. Mr. Anderson was cremated.
