Mary L. Kaufman, Cottonwood Falls
Mary L. Kaufman died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Golden Living Center of Chase County in Cottonwood Falls. She was 89.
Miss Kaufman lived with her sister and brother all her life and they all worked on their farm.
The daughter of Lewis M. and Ida Mau Kaufman, she was born Aug. 13, 1917, in rural Cottonwood Falls.
Miss Kaufman’s sister, Clara Kaufman, died Aug. 29, 2001; her brother, Edward Kaufman, died Jan. 25, 2006.
The service to celebrate her life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. Rick Smith will conduct the service. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery in rural Cottonwood Falls. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Thursday until service time.
