Lillie E. McCullough, Burlington

Lillie E. McCullough, formerly of LeRoy, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at the Life Care Center in Burlington where she had been a resident since December. She was 84.
Mrs. McCullough was a homemaker. She and her family moved from Gas City to LeRoy in 1957.
The daughter of Charles Burton and Lottie Scott Trester, she was born Nov. 24, 1922, in Allen County. She married William R. McCullough on Aug. 22, 1938, in Iola. He died March 8, 1993.
Mrs. McCullough is survived by four daughters, Dahlia Wright and Geney Peterson, both of LeRoy, and Bertha Gross and Violet Fultz, both of Independence; four sons, Jack McCullough of Americus, Matt McCullough of LeRoy, Claude McCullough of Elk City and Gene McCullough of Wichita; three brothers, Jake Trester of LeRoy, Johnny Trester of Iola and Budge Trester of Wagner, Okla.; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Berton McCullough, a brother, Bert Trester, and two sisters, Daisy Zornes and Violet Hutton, died earlier.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Logue Cemetery, east of LeRoy. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
