Anna “Pauline” Newell of Oskaloosa died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at her daughter’s home in Meriden. Survivors in this area include a sister, Lois Potts of Emporia.
Mrs. Newell was a clerk at the AAA office in Oskaloosa for 12 years and served on the Jefferson County election board.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Oskaloosa United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in rural Oskaloosa. The family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. The coffin will remain closed.
