Thomas E. Hatten, Loveland, Colo.

Former Emporia resident Thomas E. Hatten of Loveland, Colo., died May 29, 2007. He was 59.
Mr. Hatten, who moved from Emporia to Loveland in 1981, was a parts manager for 26 years at Ferrero Automobile Sales in Loveland.
The son of Leon and Catherine Blacet Hatten, he was born Nov. 29, 1948, at Abilene. He graduated from Abilene High School and Emporia State University.
Mr. Hatten is survived by two brothers, Jerry Hatten of Kansas City, Kan., and Jim Hatten of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and three sisters, Mary Jo Burnworth of Loveland, Colo., Jeanne Sibley of Exton, Pa., and Martha Manteuffel of Dallas, Texas. His parents died earlier.
The service to celebrate his life will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Christian Church at Loveland. Mr. Hatten was cremated.
Memorial contributions to the Larimer County Humane Society, Poudre Valley Hospital Memorial Foundation or American Heart Association may be sent in care of the Viegut Funeral Home, 1440 N. Boise Ave., Loveland, CO 80538.
