Margaret Kline Peer, Topeka
TOPEKA
Elmdale native Margaret Oborny Peer of Topeka died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at a Topeka hospital. She was 86.
Ms. Peer was a medical records clerk for many years at the Kansas Neurological Institute in Topeka.
The daughter of William and Minnie Smethers Kline, she was born March 18, 1921, in Elmdale. She graduated from Elmdale High School and the Wichita Business School.
She married Lester Oborny on April 13, 1956, in Strong City. They were divorced. She married Charles Peer. They were divorced.
Ms. Peer is survived one son, Morris Oborny of Topeka; and two daughters, Mary Frost of Topeka and Diana Oborny of Paola.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Elmdale Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home in Topeka.
