Delores Maxine Lanzrath

Former Emporian Delores Maxine Lanzrath of Starkville, Miss., died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Newman Regional Health. She was 76.
Mrs. Lanzrath was a homemaker.
The daughter of Stephen G. and Myrdle Kibbe Evans, she was born June 29, 1931, in Lyndon. She married Lyle F. Lanzrath on Nov. 27, 1950. He died Nov. 19, 1997.
Mrs. Lanzrath was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by five sons, Mike Lanzrath of Emporia, Matthew Lanzrath of Allen, Daniel Lanzrath of Council Grove, Patrick Lanzrath of Starkville, Miss., and Joseph Lanzrath of Spicer, Minn.; five daughters, Jean Grayson and Connie Carr, both of Emporia, Eli Renteria of Hartford, Cindy Clatterbuck of Salina and Jane Meierhoff of Missouri; 25 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Ann Taber, Toni Lanzrath and Jackie Phillips; five brothers, Gilbert Evans, James Evans, Stephen Evans, Allan Evans and an infant brother; four sisters, Rowena Ewing, Vivian Scheel, Lura Romary and Mary Lou Evans; and a granddaughter, Jenni Mae Carr.
The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hillside Cemetery in Toledo Township. Pastor Lori Schwilling of the Saffordville Methodist Church will conduct the service. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
