Jeffery A. Redick, Neosho Rapids

The service to celebrate the life of Jeffery A. Redick will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. Kathy Williams of the Grace United Methodist Church in Emporia will conduct the service. Mr. Redick will be cremated after the service, with inurnment to be at a later date. The family will meet friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends also may call from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday until service time.
Memorial contributions to the Twin Cities Lions Club Playground Fund or the Chase County All-Veterans Memorial may be sent in care of the funeral home, 201 Cherry, Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845-0220.

Mr. Redick died suddenly Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Newman Regional Health. He was 48.
He was a forklift operator at Norfolk Iron and Metal Company.
The son of James and Norma Redick, he was born May 6, 1959, at Emporia. He married Phobe Kissel. She died in 1998.
Mr. Redick was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cottonwood Falls.
He is survived by his parents of Cottonwood Falls; a brother, Theodore Redick of Kansas City, Kan.; and a companion, Della Thompson of Neosho Rapids. Two brothers, Jay Redick and Jerry Redick, died earlier.
