Alejandra Maria Alvarez Wright
The Mass of Christian Burial for Alejandra Maria Wright will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Darren Henson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery, north of Melvern Lake.The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Wright died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was 48.
She was the owner of the New and Used Furniture business in Emporia and the trailer park in Americus.
The daughter of Ambrosio and Maria Iniguez Alvarez, she was born Jan. 16, 1959, in Mexico. She married Lee R. Wright on April 13, 1998, at Miami, Okla. He survives.
Mrs. Wright attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is also survived by one son, Israel Alvarez of Americus; one daughter, Jocelyn Alvarez of Emporia; one stepdaughter, Alesia Wright of Americus; two stepsons, Steve Wright of Morrowville and Jesse Wright of Denver, Colo.; her mother of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Ambrosio Alvarez of El Paso, Texas, and Miguel Angel Alvarez of Maywood, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Her father died earlier.
